Glorious Knitted Food by Jessica Dance

Art Director, Model Maker & Prop Stylist Jessica Dance specialises in creating handcrafted models, props and sets, often inspired by food.

By bringing her playful imagination to areas of fashion, editorial, interiors, film and animation, she sets to work creating these wonderful tactile objects.

Howkapow recently featured Jessica on their site, featuring her highly skilled collection of knitted lambswool sundries produced in collaboration with photographer David Sykes looking at comfort food. Dance makes all of the objects at home using 100% lambswool on a domestic knitting machine. Delicious!

From a distance these objects could pass as the real thing, and recreate a woolly nostalgia for British cafes and fast food restaurants.
