Joyful and fun-loving work by Steffie Brocoli

From colourful wall murals to custom prints on Etsy, there is a joyful and fun-loving nature to the work of Paris based illustrator Steffie Brocoli.

Her love of simplicity and hand crafting is evident, as she plays with bold shapes and even bolder colour palettes capturing a sense of fun and freedom.

When not creating, Steffie likes to cook experimental meals, ride her bike, visit new places and discover new ways of making things. This adventurous spirit reflects her aspiration to always be learning and experimenting with new methods.

Since she began her career in the industry, her illustration skills have been applied to “clumsy” ceramics, screen-printing and outdoor murals – each new challenge being met with enthusiasm, excitement and fresh thinking.

Her portfolio features lots of fun and bright ideas such as her “Il a neigé ce matin!” picture book; a little concertina which takes young readers on a journey through a quiet, snowy forest and encourages them to try and find which sleeping animals lie underneath a series of fold-down trunks, rocks and bushes.

From an abundance of grinning geometric shapes, to a collection of perky plants and amusing animals – small details which may at first escape your notice, but are bound to make you smile.
