The Decked Project unites illustration and graffiti in an annual exhibition of ink-stained and hand painted decks, showcasing over 40 artists from the UK and abroad. This year sees a very special collaboration with Vans, adding a slice of customised urban footwear to the mix in the form of hand-painted Vans Chukka Boots!

Dave Bain was one of a handful of talented illustrators picked to participate in this exciting side project, transforming the boots into a unique piece of art. Each pair of customised footwear will be exhibited alongside a diverse selection of skate decks at the Coningsbury Gallery in London from Monday 16th August, with a special preview opening on Wednesday 18th August.

The Decked Project is a fine and dandy collection of artists / illustrators / designers / tattoo artists and generally ink-stained fellows.
