Featured Artist: JAYPEE

Jonny Packham, a.k.a JAYPEE is a designer/ illustrator from Leeds. Creating weird and wonderful character design, much of his inspiration comes from cult icons like Ren & Stimpy, Beavis & Butthead and many more. In his hometown of Leeds, Jay is surrounded by street art and graffiti, which also feeds into his image making process.

“I try to give my work some sort of charm for people to connect with – but thats not always what im trying to elicit; if someone looking at my work feels offended or kind of grossed out, I’m also happy with that because i want to achieve a balance of slapstick and disturbia in the tone of my work.”
