As part of our Character Totem Project, we invited illustrators, artists or anyone feeling a little creative to enter Colour Me Totem, our first online creative project! The rules were simple – ‘Discover your inner character – doodle, ink, paint or digitally design your own Character Totem.
Give him a name & send us the results’ And what a collection of entries we received! Quirky, colourful and full of character, the entries were incredibly diverse and sent in from artists as far afield as Guatemala, Australia and Germany, including Wilmer Murillo (HN), DOODULL (UK), Jan Werkt (BE), Muxxi (GU), Thereza Rowe (UK) and Javier López (ES).
We shortlisted a collection of our favourite entries to print, frame and exhibit on the walls of the Neurotitan Gallery, as part of our Character Totem exhibiton, launched Wednesday 6 April. As a special treat, visitors to the show can also come down and create their own Colour Me Totem on-site at our Colour Me Totem workshop (just bring pens!).
If you can’t wait till then, here’s a teaser of the best Colour Me Totem entries we selected for feature in the show…

They are AMAZING! I can’t beleive I missed this contest….
