Toy Factory (Sam de Buysscher) and Jan Werkt are talented illustrators and artists living in working in their native City of Antwerp, Belgium. Sam has been a good friend of ours since September 2010, participating in our debut London exhibition ‘Play’ at the EAST Gallery on Brick Lane. Over the past year, Sam has worked on numerous creative projects, including collections for children’s clothing brand Chicken Rhythm.

Toy Factory splits his time between illustration, live painting and fatherhood – having recently become the proud Dad of twins (congratulations Sam!). Despite his hectic schedule, Sam found time to collaborate with Jan Werkt on this latest project to transform the interior of local venue Bar Nadar with a huge wall mural – we love it!

He was also one of 32 artists invited to participate in our Character Totem project earlier this year, which took us to Berlin for the annual Pictoplasma Character Design Conference! Here’s his awesome creation below ‘The Mood Swinger’; a game of four faces.
