Featured Artist: Camille Walala | LIF 2015

Camille Walala is a pioneering print designer, art director and interior designer living in East London famed for her signature geometric pattern work.

Her signature tribal pop designs can be seen on façades spanning London, New York and Paris.a purveyor of powerfully positive digital print. A graduate in Textile Design from the University of Brighton, her namesake brand was established in East London in 2009, where she continues to live.

This Saturday she’s heading to The London Illustration Fair bringing her infectious bold colour palette to the Bargehouse with a display of her new prints and best-loved classics.

Her recent work has seen her progressing from her popular textile based range to include Art Direction, Interior Design and a continued love affair with pop-up restaurants, where her love for food and design are brought to life.

 

Camille joins fellow exhibitors Robert Frank Hunter, Rupert Newman and Crafty Fox Market, alongside 70+ other illustrators, designers and crafters at this weekends LIF 2015 event! Watch out for Camille’s limited edition tote bag – printed live at the launch party and exclusive to the fair. With a run of 100, you better snap yours up fast! Camille will also be signing prints on Saturday 5th December.

The London Illustration Fair takes place at Bargehouse, OXO Tower Wharf from Friday 4th December, Saturday 5th December and Sunday 6th December, with a special launch party on Thursday 3rd December, 6pm – 9pm.
