Ears & Eyes – An Illustration Event at The Beacon

Ears & Eyes is a brand new event for The Beacon, Hastings launching on Saturday 14th March with two talks by illustrators Mr Bingo and Nick White.

Illustrator and seasoned speaker, Mr Bingo will explain why spreading hate makes the world a better place and his thoughts about the internet and modern life. His clients include TIME, Camden Town Brewery, Byron Burgers, The New York Times, QI and Jimmy Carr.

Skilled ninja, pasrty chef, lecturer and illustrator, Nick White will muse upon his humorous visual musings, explain the various (in)consistant (anti)themes in his work and show at least 3 pictures of cats. His clients include The Big Issue, The LA Times, The V&A, The New York Times, Nobrow and Anorak Magazine.

Curated by fellow illustrator Ben Newman, Ears & Eyes will have a Pop Up Diner and bar at the event, catering for both carnivorous and vegetarian human beans in the form of hot diggety dogs, hamburglars and veggieburglars. The bar is cash only so bring some pocket money. Known for giving some of the most inspiring, engaging and funny talks around, Nick White and Mr Bingo are guaranteed to keep you entertained.
