Glug Brum 04.06.15: In Pictures

On Thursday 4th June we invited Birmingham's creative community to join us for our third edition of Glug Birmingham: Midland Masters.

Presenting an evening of inspiring talks by creative studios, art directors, illustrators and designers at our new venue Spotlight & Nextdoor, we were also joined by Sparrow + Wolf,  Jasmine Parker and Working Clasp selling their wares.

The evening got off to a great start thanks to Jameson Irish Whisky who provided cocktails for everyone to enjoy, and Baked in Brick – one of the newest additions to Digbeth Dining Club who served up freshly made pizza’s till late.

Highlights include Luke Tonge who spoke in length about his latest project ‘The Recorder’ – now on it’s second edition, Midland’s best export Gavin Strange, who traveled up from Bristol to give an energetic, entertaining and thoroughly inspiring talk about ‘Graft, Craft and the Art of Being Daft.’and Shotopop director Casper Franken who rounded up the evening with their stunning portfolio of paper craft projects.

Here’s a selection of photos from the night…
