London Illustration Fair are back this November – see what’s in store!

The London Illustration fair (LIF) returns this December to celebrate its 6th birthday with an abundance of installations and workshops from the likes of Alice Tams and design duo Rude.

Returning for a fun filled 3 day festival at the much loved Bargehouse at Oxo Tower Wharf on the London Southbank, the annual London Illustration Fair brings together artists and buyers in a unique location, offering the chance for illustration enthusiasts to meet their favourite artists and discover new talent.

This year’s festival will showcase both first time exhibitors and established names with over 60 artists exhibiting and selling their work, selected by a panel of judges. Complimented by a fun-filled workshop and talks programme featuring masterclasses, engaging discussions and in-depth industry talks, their sixth year promises to be their best yet.

Special guest Alice Tams will be on-site throughout the weekend painting a large scale mural in front of LIF attendees – who can then enter an Instagram competition in the lead-up to the fair, with the chance to have their portraits immortalised as pigeons in her mural.

Design duo Abi and Rupert Meats aka Rude (below) are this year’s featured studio and will be displaying a range of their iconic, bold and bright posters at their stand during the event.

They will also be hosting a workshop and designing an extra-large 10 meter wide mural for the fairs entrance space.

London Illustration Festival opens on November 29th and runs daily until 1st December. Tickets for LIF 2019 are on sale now, £10 advance, £12 on the door. Children under 12 years old go free. Visit thelondonillustrationfair.com for full details.
