Supakitch presents ‘Wall Ride’ at Kolly Gallery

Raised on manga and hip-hop culture, and passionate about art and music since childhood, SupaKitch lives and works in Paris, Biarritz, LA and NY.

Taking a more open approach to graffitti, his work dares to mix various techniques in his street art (spray, brushes and acrylic paint, collage, silkscreen), often collaborating with his partner and street artist Koralie.

His latest solo show ‘Wall Ride‘ opened at Kolly Gallery in Zurich last week exploring a wide range of mediums: large canvases, sculptures, installations, screen prints, laser cut, vinyl discs and music.

SupaKitch is a complete artist brimming with ideas; he has created a universe with Asian influences, pop-romantic and musical, where anthropomorphic creatures such as the Supanimal, who looks like a red panda, a fox and a bird, are used as metaphors.

A lover of fashion, SupaKitch founded clothing collection Metroplastique with Koralie winning the “Young Entrepreneur of Fashion” award in 2005.  SupaKitch is a complete artist brimming with ideas; he has created a universe with Asian influences, pop-romantic and musical, where anthropomorphic creatures such as the Supanimal, who looks like a red panda, a fox and a bird, are used as metaphors.

Wall Ride is on show at Kolly Gallery, Zurich until 20th December. Words: Kolly Gallery / Images: SupaKitch
