Pedro Campiche (AKACORLEONE) is an illustrator and graphic designer from Lisboa, Portugal.
Bursting with eye-popping colour, hand rendered type and slightly mad looking characters, his work reflects a love of markers, ink, doodling and experimenting.
Painting walls and running from dogs gave me the addiction to typography, color, painting, drawing all day, planning things in advance, and mostly it gave me a chance to express myself without boundaries, something I try to apply to may daily life and work.
With clients that include FormFortyFive, Montana & Optimus, his work has been exhibited globally and featured in numerous publications in print and online. Pedro describes himself as “obsessed with everything visual; i´m a sneaker head, a toy collector, a bike rider, a graffiti lover, a travelling addicted, awesome chef, comic enthusiast, movie buff, Polaroid fan, fun lovin´ criminal and ping pong champion wannabe..”
Co-founder of STEPPIN STONE with his partner in crime Kruella D’Enfer, together they run an online store, stocking illustrated goods including branded tees, prints, original artworks and Spanish lowbrow magazine Fine Rats.
