Featured Artist: James Boorman

A motion graphic designer by day and character designer by night, James Boorman recently caught our eye with his illustrations of 80's wrestlers.

A side project for online gallery Planet Pulp, the brief was ‘Bad Hair’, and being a kid of the 80’s, James drew on inspiration from the WWF of that period, where hairstyle were “literally part of the costumes”.

These guys had some of the best (hair styles) and I simply thought it’d be fun to illustrate them as series of 4, making use of simple line art, a limited colour palette and let the hair do the talking..”
