Jessica Dance brings illustrator Jon Burgerman’s characters to life
Jessica Dance is an Art Director and Prop Stylist who specialises in creating handcrafted models, props and sets, often inspired by food.
She recently teamed up with world renowned illustrator Jon Burgerman. Bringing his iconic characters into the third dimension through her trademark woollen sculptures! Inspired by Burgerman’s characters, which have such charm and characterful expression, Dance felt the illustrations could step right off the page and into her woolly world of creations.
Her client work spans across the worlds of advertising, art, editorial and installation, including work for the likes of ITV, Adam & Eve DDB, Tatler, Stylist, Vogue, Google, Mulberry, Creative Review, Vanity Fair, Liberty, Topshop, Whistles, Hunter, Selfridges, Berghaus, Marie Claire, GAP, Endsliegh and TimeOut.
Dance makes all of the objects at home using 100% lambswool on a domestic knitting machine. Delicious!
