We Like: Milica Golubovi
Visual artist and illustrator Milica Golubovi comes from a small old town on the Adriatic coast, and now lives and works in Belgrade, Serbia.
Taking inspiration from nature, the sea, and dreams – and indirectly by moving images, literature, and talks – Milica Golubovic applies a poetic and often metaphorical language within her personal work.
Creating compositions or settings that often generate tranquil poetic images; a sensibility she tries to incorporate in her editorial work, her images blend playful textures, pastel colours and a dreamy atmosphere.
She creates her works through digital tools/processing, but with an analog feel. She has participated in over 40 group exhibitions, both local and international and received multiple awards for her illustration work.
