We Like: Paper London
Illustrator, Sam Pierpoint, has recently revealed her latest project, Paper London; an experimental, original art undertaking, that depicts the city of London as a large 3D paper sculpture - and we love it!
Realising her desire to create more exhibition-friendly work, Pierpoint has worked tirelessly to build her own detailed sculpture of London here, which holds its charm from all angles.
Paper London also sees a heavier focus on post-production, having been photographed and finished by Pierpoint’s partner, Michael Foyle, using light compositing techniques. Sam reflects: “After 50 odd photoshop layers and several hours of hard work later, the final image is now finished and I’m so happy with the results. I can’t wait to do more work like this.”
Well Sam, neither can we!
