Who is this course for?
This course is for illustrators, artists and designers who want to turn their ideas into sellable products. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your shop to the next level, this course will help you design with purpose, make with confidence, and sell with strategy.
Do I need to be a professional illustrator to join?
Not at all! You don’t need a fancy degree or years of experience — just a creative spark and a willingness to learn. This course is perfect for beginners and early-career artists who want to explore product design and selling without feeling overwhelmed.
What payment options are there?
We accept Stripe, Paypal, Apple Pay & Credit Card. Pay in full or opt for our payment plan to split the cost over six months. UK customers can also spread the cost with Klarna or Clearpay. If you’re an international artist or illustrator you can also pay in your own currency on this link.

How long is the course?
The core course runs for 8 weeks, but you’ll have ongoing access to the materials for six months until 1st December, so you can go at your own pace or revisit anything whenever you need a refresher.
I’m busy—will I fall behind in the live version?
Not at all! Every session is recorded, and you’ll have access for six months. But if you prefer to move on your own timeline, the self-paced version might be best.
Will I get the same results from the self-paced course?
Absolutely. The core content is the same, but if you want personalised feedback and live coaching, the live version adds that extra layer of support.
Who are the guest speakers?
We’re delighted to welcome four leading creative makers on board to support Design It, Make It, Sell It! with expertise across licensing, wholesale, pricing and branding!
Our 2025 speakers are:
- Emmy Lupin
- Melanie Johnsson
- Marie Chanteur aka Wobbly Studio
- Laura Barnes
Do I need to have a product idea already?
Nope! We’ll guide you through idea generation and help you shape concepts that feel authentic and exciting to you. If you do have ideas brewing, we’ll help you refine and develop them.
What if I’ve already sold a few products?
Amazing! You’ll still benefit from the structure, creative development tools, and marketing strategies. We’ve designed this to help you level up, troubleshoot gaps, and get more confident in your selling process.
What materials or tools do I need?
Just the basics:
- A sketchbook or iPad/computer for creating your designs
- Internet access to watch the videos and join live sessions
- Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate or Affinity
Will I get feedback on my work?
Yes! You’ll have opportunities to share your ideas and get feedback in the community space. We’ll also host optional live feedback sessions to support your progress.
How much time do I need to commit each week?
We recommend setting aside 2–4 hours per week. But it’s flexible — you can go faster or slower depending on your schedule.
What happens after the course ends?
You’ll still have access to all the lessons and resources for six months after the course wraps up. Plus, if you join Inkygoodness Collective as a paid member you’ll have access to our live member events, creative challenges and our Creative Hub with extra business support and monthly guides.
I’m nervous about selling — is this for me?
Yes! We hear this a lot. This course is designed to take the fear out of selling by helping you design and make products you believe in and giving you tools to sell in a way that feels natural and values-led.
