OFFSET returns to Bord Gáis Energy Theatre next Spring for its 12th edition presenting a stellar lineup of the best creative talent from around the world in the heart of Dublin.
Promising a dense programme packed with presentations, interviews, panel discussions and debates, with interactive demos, creative, marketplace and industry networking areas, all running from Friday the 23rd to Sunday the 25th of March 2018.

So what’s it all about?
A feast for the eyes and ears, this year’s speaker line-up represents industry at all levels, made up of key disruptors and genuine influencers in their fields, driving everything from huge global campaigns to awe inspiring personal projects.
Attendees can look forward to hearing from the brand agency Hudson Powell, design director of The New York Times Gail Bichler, Award wining French illustrator Blexbolex, designer and author Joshua Davis and the incredible Chris Ware, of Jimmy Corrigan fame, who will each speak about their work, ideas and inspirations, giving audiences an insight into their practices and personal perspectives on their careers over the course of the three day conference.

Hudson & Powell – Luke Powell & Jody Hudson-Powell
Brothers Luke Powell and Jody Hudson-Powell joined Pentagram in October 2015 after successfully running their own creative studio, Hudson-Powell for over ten years. Their multi-disciplinary practice encompassed creating brand identities, motion graphics, interactive design, creative technology, immersive experiences and art commissions.
Gail Bichler – Design Director, The New York Times
Gail Bichler is the design director of The New York Times Magazine where she and her team have won numerous awards for their print and interactive design as well as their groundbreaking work in virtual reality. This year they were named “Magazine of the Year” by the Society of Publication Designers (S.P.D.) and received two Grand Prix awards at Cannes. In 2015 they were named “Design Team of the Year” by the Art Director’s Club (A.D.C.). In addition Gail’s work has been recognized by D&AD, S.P.D., A.D.C., the American Institute for Graphic Arts, the Type Directors Club, American Photography, and American Illustration.
Chris Ware – Comic Artist
Best known for the award-winning Jimmy Corrigan: The Smartest Kid On Earth, 45-year-old Chris Ware lives in Chicago. His works explore themes of social isolation, emotional torment and depression. He tends to use a vivid color palette and realistic, meticulous detail. His lettering and images are often elaborate and sometimes evoke the ragtime era or another early 20th-century American design style.
