Ohh Deer’s collaboration with YouTuber Arden Rose brings together pencil shavings, lemon trees and cute cacti to create a collection with unique personality.

Ohh Deer have been on a roll this year. They’ve treated stationery addicts across the world to more new ranges than ever before. Our top pick from their impressive catalogue is the collection they have released with beauty and lifestyle YouTuber Arden Rose.

The collection is split into 2 distinct yet cohesive halves. One half features quirky doodles of plants, pens and cups of coffee. The other is covered in atmospheric patterns filled with green leaves and lemon trees.

The Arden Rose ranges fuses together 2 different styles

“Juxtaposing playfully illustrated characters with the latest trend, Ohh Deer have created a collection which is uniquely Arden Rose”

Originally, the range launched as part of Ohh Deer’s Papergang subscription service. Papergang subscribers pay £10.95 a month and in return receive a hand-picked selection of illustrated goods. In April, subscribers received a selection of products from the new range including stickers, greetings cards and a planner.

Whenever a brand pair with someone who isn’t a designer, it is important to make it clear who was behind creating the visuals. Ohh Deer always do and in this case it was Amy Lesko who’s adorable doodles featured on the collection. Amy works both as a freelance illustrator and Junior Designer at Ohh Deer. Versatile, contemporary and quirky – her style was the perfect thing to fuse together the brands of Ohh Deer and Arden Rose.

Keyrings, iron-on patches and stickers are all part of the collection

“I am so excited to be able to collaborate with one of my favourite UK brands Ohh Deer to bring you this sassy collection. I wanted Summer and warmth and kitschy touches throughout these pieces and I feel like with each lemon or smiley face we did just that!”

Arden Rose

Arden Rose has over a million YouTube subscribers and just as many Instagram followers. Because of this, it is easy to assume companies who pair with well known social media personalities are trying to cash in on their “celebrity status”. Some might even think Ohh Deer can release anything and Arden’s following will lap it up.

However, whilst this may happen in some cases, in this one we suspect Arden was heavily involved. Such a specific blend in styles implies there was one personality in control behind the scenes. Whether this was Arden herself is impossible to tell but what it shows is Arden isn’t happy to just sign her name to something. Instead, she has aimed to create a unique collection which even those who have no idea who or what Arden Rose is can enjoy. And with the help of Ohh Deer, she has done just that!

Ohh Deer are releasing new collections all the time recently and we can’t wait to see what will be next!
