Weekly Wishlist | Shopping the pin trend
This Summer's enamel pin trend has inspired some incredible creations from independent makers, so we thought we'd make our second Weekly Wishlist pin-themed!
If you are looking for an enamel pin featuring a skull, a pineapple, or a piece of pizza then the high street is the place to go. However, if you are looking for something a bit more unique that will better display your personality, it’s definitely worth giving a few indie shops a browse. Whether it is a love of animals or stationery obsession, there is a pin out their to display everyone’s passion.
Here are 7 of our favourites…
Gemma Correll pug pin from Ohh Deer (£5.95)
The many collaborative ranges they have released together over the last few years have proven Ohh Deer, Gemma Correll and pugs to be a winning combination.
As the proud owner of one, I can confirm this pin is just as adorable in person!
Stationery pin set from Present & Correct (£11.50)
With this little pin set from Present and Correct, you can show you stationery love with pride! And thanks to it’s sleek design and brass outlining, you can look stylish and classy while doing so.
Monstera pin from Wrap Magazine (£7.50)
When designers weren’t making things into pins this Summer, they were probably making things that were tropical themed…
“Combining these 2 trendiest of trends in style, this Monstera pin from Wrap Magazine will add a touch of tropical Summer to your Autumn wardrobe.”
Cacti pin from Jacqueline Colley (£8)
Another (seemingly never ending) fashion trend is cacti. There are many high street cactus pins out there but this one from independent illustrator Jacqueline Colley packs way more personality.
Bear hug pin from Old English Company (£7)
Speaking of trends, Winter is coming and you know what that means – everything woodland themed. Why not get ahead of the game with this cute “I want to bear hug you” pin?
“Man! I feel like a ramen!” pin from Amy Victoria Marsh (£9)
Featuring naked women wrapped in seaweed or bathing in Ramen, Amy Victoria Marsh’s range of enamel pins are the most unique we have found!
“The combination of nudity and food has never looked so adorable.”
Frida Catlo pin from Niaski (£7.50)
Finally, if you only like clothing and accessories which contain puns then we have you covered with this “Frida Catlo” pin from Niaski. Other than that, we have no idea what you will wear – head-to-toe puns is a hard look to achieve.
